Gil Avenaim established Goodtimes Video Production in Sydney in 1983. As an award winning videographer and marketer, Gil has built the business on the back of a deep passion for video and photography, developed and nurtured from a very young age. “I used to love making short films when I was young so I knew my career would involve filming”
Gil hit the wedding market and decided he wasn’t interested in creating ‘formal’ wedding videos in Sydney. They needed to be fun, creative, different…and a little ‘out there’. Obviously it all depends on the bridal party, but if they are willing to experiment to get great footage, so is Gil….“All my wedding cameramen are trained with the same attitude… have fun, be creative, enjoy the day and motivate the bridal party”
Most important is to capture EVERYTHING that happens on the wedding day, then we can create all the magic during editing, “I’m very conscious about recording good, clean footage at all times”
From weddings to corporate, events, music performances, sports, concerts, seminars, training videos, 21st birthdays, and school formals..there's not a lot that Gil and his team have not filmed.

We offer a wide range of video production services including corporate videos, promotional videos, event coverage, product demos, sports, conferences, and more.
Our video production process includes pre-production planning, filming, editing, and post-production. We work closely with our clients to ensure that their vision is brought to life through each step of the process.
The turnaround time for a video varies depending on the complexity and length of the project. However, we strive to deliver our videos within two to four weeks from the start of production.
We don't charge to film the concert. We provide a 3 camera shoot with full editing and then we distribute the download link to those parents who ordered. We do however require a minimum guarantee of 100 orders from parents....so if parents e.g order 60 copies, then the school needs to pay the balance of 40 copies. If however the parents order 110 copies, then the school does not have to pay anything.
